The department aims to achieve excellence in the field of pharmaceuticals and the techniques of teaching and research, as well as to provide services for the experts in such fields to further develop healthcare in the Saudi community and the level of local and regional pharmaceutical industries.

Mission

The mission of the pharmaceutics department is to provide educational experiences based on best educational practices for all students as well as healthcare professionals through a balanced program of education and research. This includes, in particular, the formulation and evaluation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms, modern drug delivery systems , and the conduct of high quality research projects.

Objectives

• Prepare and train students on the necessary skills for the pharmaceutical field.

• Train undergraduates and postgraduate students in pharmaceutical and other related specialization.

• Turn students from passive recipients into independent learners.
